Connecting iCIMS® to Built

Prev Next

For customers of our Position Management module utilizing our iCIMS integration.

Our bidirectional integration allows you to create requisitions in Built, utilize our configurable approval flow, and then send the requisitions to iCIMS. You can also connect requisitions imported from iCIMS to positions in Built.

Connecting Built and iCIMS

To initiate your custom API integration, please contact your iCIMS Account Manager. Once a SOW (Statement of Work) is in place, you will be assigned an integration consultant to guide your implementation.

After connecting Built to iCIMS, daily automatic imports will be enabled. You may also initiate a manual import from iCIMS at any time. Imported requisitions can then be connected to positions in Built.

Sending Built Requisitions to iCIMS

Built’s Customer Success Team will work with you to configure your integration and confirm which iCIMS folder you’d like to send requisition data to. By default, requisition data sent from Built to iCIMS will include the information listed in the table below. Alternatively, you can request a custom dataset to meet your organization’s needs.

While our requisition approval workflows help your team ensure the appropriate approvals, admins can skip pending approvers or bypass a requisition’s approval process when flexibility is needed.

Requisition Data

Once a Built requisition is sent to iCIMS, only the requisition’s status in iCIMS will be automatically updated in Built.
