Access your organization’s reports by navigating from the main menu to the Reports page. Click to open the desired report, then use the buttons at the top to configure data options, apply filters, sort the displayed data, or export the report.
By default, only Company Admins can access all data on all reports. Within the reports they can access, HR Admins, HR Managers, Limited Admins, and Read-Only Admins can view data within their specified scope. For these roles, access to certain reports and data options requires granted permissions to view compensation and/or budgeting data. See additional notes below detailing specific access restrictions. People Reports
Limited Admins cannot access people reports except the New Hires report.
Benefits
Verify benefit enrollment details and monitor participation.
Birthdays
View birthdays across your organization to gain demographic insights and support recognition initiatives.
Compensation
Monitor pay rates across your organization to support strategic planning and budgeting. Learn about managing people’s compensation.
Access to this report requires permission to view compensation for the entire organization.
Expiring Licenses/Certifications
Ensure compliance by monitoring license and certification expiration dates.
New Hires
Review a list of new hires to analyze hiring trends and inform onboarding efforts. By default, the report displays new hires from the last 30 days.
Pending Invitations
View people invited to your account who haven’t logged in yet so you can follow up or reinvite them if needed.
People Without Positions
Reference a list of people added to Built who are not yet assigned to a position, helping you identify and close gaps in your records. Learn about creating and managing positions.
Schedules
Reference people’s work schedules to inform operational planning. Learn about setting work schedules.
Terminations
Reference a record of terminations across your organization. By default, terminations from the last 30 days are displayed.
Notes about the Terminations report:
Read-Only Admins cannot access the Terminations report.
Scheduled terminations are not displayed.
The following data will reflect information as of the termination date, regardless of whether position data has been updated since then: Position ID (At Termination), Title (At Termination), and Reports To (At Termination). All other applicable data will reflect current information.
Tenure
View a complete list of individuals’ hire dates and tenure to inform recognition efforts and prioritize succession planning. Learn about creating and managing succession plans.
User Logins
View a record of login activity and invitation statuses to assess engagement within Built.
Position Management Reports
Available to customers of our Position Management module.
While HR Admins and HR Managers can view all positions in position management reports, compensation and budget data are hidden for positions outside their scope, unless permissions are explicitly granted.
New Positions
Support position control by confirming when and by whom positions were created in your organization. By default, the report displays positions created in the last 30 days.
Open Positions
Focus recruiting efforts by monitoring vital information for open positions, such as days open, status, importance, hiring priority, proposed hiring date, and connected requisitions.
Position Allocations
Review a list of positions allocated by department, business unit, location, and custom position fields to evaluate resource distribution. Learn about managing position allocations.
Position Funding Breakdown
Review allocated funds from specific funding sources against each position’s total budget to monitor spending. Learn about managing funding sources.

Position Budget vs Compensation
Compare each position’s annual budget with the current annual compensation to track budget alignment. Learn about managing position budgets and compensation.

For people sharing a position, total annual compensation reflects the sum of their compensation amounts. Learn more about managing shared positions.
Position Cost
Identify variances between annual position budgets and projected end-of-year (EOY) costs based on year-to-date (YTD) costs (people’s base pay and variable pay totals).
Notes about the Position Cost report:
Access to this report requires permission to view budgeting and compensation data.
Year-to-date costs include only individuals who filled the position as of January 1 of the current year.
Position cost is not calculated for days the position is open.
For customers of our ADP Workforce Now® and ADP Vantage HCM® integrations importing pay data, YTD costs will reflect the imported values for individuals who held their primary position since the start of the current calendar or fiscal year. Positions Over Time
Summarize position metrics for the desired date range and interval to track organizational changes and identify trends. Click a data cell to view or export a list of positions contributing to the displayed metric.
Notes about the Positions Over Time report:
Access to this report requires permission to view budgeting data.
When clicking a data cell to view the positions contributing to the report’s metrics, the current position data will be displayed, regardless of the selected time interval on the report.
Permanently deleted positions will not appear on this report.
Filters are currently unavailable for the Positions Over Time report.
Removed Positions
Maintain structural integrity by tracking removed positions, viewing position history, and restoring or permanently deleting positions. Learn more about tracking position history in Built.
Retirement Risk
Monitor the years to retirement for individuals currently filling a position to inform succession planning. This forecast considers age 62 as the year for retirement.
Filtering the report by position importance can help you further prioritize planning.
