For customers of our Position Management module utilizing our BambooHR Applicant Tracking integration.
Our bidirectional integration allows you to create requisitions in Built, utilize our configurable approval flow, and then send the requisitions to BambooHR’s ATS. You can also connect requisitions imported from BambooHR ATS to positions in Built.
While any BambooHR customer can enable the BambooHR ATS integration, only customers of our Position Management module can access the Requisitions table to create and manage requisitions in Built. Customers not subscribed to the Position Management module can only visualize imported requisitions on the org chart.
To connect Built to BambooHR:
Only Company Admins can configure company settings. Learn more about managing user roles and permissions.
Click your company name at the top of the main navigation, then click Company Settings.
Click the Integrations tab.
If the Integrations tab is not immediately visible, click the More dropdown.
In the table, locate and click the BambooHR ATS hyperlink.
Click the Connect button.
Ensure you’re logged into BambooHR, then complete the authorization step.
Connecting your integration will start an initial requisition import and enable daily automatic imports. You may also initiate a manual import at any time. Imported requisition data will not update connected positions in Built.
Sending Built Requisitions to BambooHR
By default, requisition data sent from Built to BambooHR will include the information listed in the table below. Alternatively, you can request a custom dataset to meet your organization’s needs.

* To successfully send requisitions to BambooHR, field data sent from Built must already exist in your organization’s BambooHR account. If the data cannot be matched to an existing option in BambooHR, you will be prompted to select from the available options. For example, if a requisition’s department is identified as Sales in Built, a Sales department must also exist in BambooHR.
If the Location is left blank in Built, it is set to the default location in BambooHR.

Notes about importing requisitions from BambooHR:
BambooHR does not define the number of positions per job opening; therefore, when a job opening is filled in BambooHR and then imported into Built, it will only allow one position to be connected.
You can only import requisition locations with On Site or Hybrid values.
Managing Your Integration and Imported Requisitions
Once your integration is connected, you can manage your settings as needed. Connect imported job requisitions to positions in Built to ensure complete, accurate data and improve planning.
