For customers of our Succession Planning module.
By selecting from individual widgets, you can configure your insights to display data most relevant to your current objectives:
Status of Positions Requiring a Plan
This widget displays how many positions in your organization require a succession plan and summarizes their plan status (Complete, Missing, or At Risk), helping you quickly prioritize your planning efforts. Learn more about defining which positions require a succession plan by configuring additional succession plan settings.
What risks do my plans have?
This widget breaks down specific risks affecting your succession plans, helping you improve the overall health of your plans. All plans with at least one candidate are included in this calculation.
Pipeline Utilization
This widget summarizes how often a position was filled with a candidate from a succession plan for a given time period. This data can help you monitor the success of your planning efforts.
How many plans have a candidate ready now?
This widget shows the percentage of succession plans with at least one internal candidate who’s ready to fill the position within the next six months. This calculation helps to identify your organization's immediate readiness to fill positions internally, highlighting a need to prepare candidates. You may also use this data to plan proactively for external recruitment efforts. All succession plans with at least one candidate are included in this calculation.
Workforce in Candidate Pool
This widget calculates the percentage of your total workforce that are candidates on at least one succession plan. This calculation communicates how many individuals in your organization are being considered for future mobility, helping to identify potential training and hiring needs. All people in your organization are included in this calculation.
Bench Strength
This widget measures the readiness to fill positions with an internal candidate within the next 6 months. The bench strength for the organization or a specific grouping (e.g., job family) is calculated by averaging the bench strength of each individual plan within the selected grouping. The candidate with the highest level of readiness determines a plan’s bench strength. For example, if there are 3 candidates for the CFO position and 1 of those candidates has a high readiness, then the bench strength for the CFO position is considered high. All succession plans with at least one candidate are included when calculating bench strength.
