For customers of our Succession Planning module.

Built allows you to create a succession plan for as many positions as necessary; however, you can also choose to define which positions require a plan. Requiring succession plans for specific positions can help you visualize the status of your planning efforts.

To define which positions require a succession plan:

  1. From the main menu, navigate to the Succession page.

  2. Click on the Settings tab at the top of the page.

  3. Select the position importance level field value(s) that require succession plans. Select low, medium, and/or high importance.
Note: You can require succession plans for multiple importance levels. (For example, You can select both “medium” and “high” for this setting if you would like all positions with either a “medium” or “high” importance level to be flagged as requiring a succession plan.)

Follow the instructions in setting a position’s importance level to ensure that positions have an importance level value.
