Single Sign-On (SSO) allows employees to access their Built account using their login credentials for ADP, Google, Microsoft, Okta, and/or Slack.
To use SSO for Google or Microsoft, an individual must:
Log into their Built account.
Click on their user name at the bottom of the main navigation, then click Sign In & Security.
Click on the SSO provider of their choice and enter the necessary credentials.
To enable additional SSO options for your team members:
Note: Only Company Admins and HR Admins can manage company settings. To learn more about assigning admin privileges, refer to: Understanding User Roles & Permissions.
ADP
You can automatically activate ADP SSO for your organization when initially integrating your Built account with your ADP account.
To enable automatic ADP SSO during your first import from ADP into Built:
After specifying your language and timezone, select Enable SSO for All Employees before clicking the Start Importing from ADP button.
Notes about enabling automatic ADP SSO:
•If you do not enable automatic ADP SSO, individuals will be unable to log into Built using their ADP credentials automatically. Instead, you will need to invite others to your account manually, where people can create a login password or set up their account with ADP SSO or another SSO option you’ve allowed.
•Prior to August 2, 2023, ADP SSO was automatically enabled by default for new Built customers. If you have questions about the ADP integration or need assistance enabling or disabling ADP SSO, please contact our Customer Success Team.
Okta
To set up Okta SSO, refer to: Enabling the Okta Integration.
Slack
To set up your Slack integration and/or Slack SSO, refer to: Connecting Slack to Built.
Note: By enforcing single sign-on (SSO), you can require people to log into Built using only the SSO options you’ve allowed.
Please contact our Customer Success Team for additional assistance.
