Built's self-service capabilities allow people to update their profile data directly. For example, if a person gets a new phone number or address, they can update their profile with their new information.
A potential problem arises here, though: how does HR find out about these changes? In Built, that problem is easily resolved by using our Daily Change Digest email. This email is sent every morning to the administrator types of your choosing and contains a list of all changes made in the prior 24 hours.
To set up employee data change notifications:
Note: Only Company Admins and HR Admins can configure company settings. To learn more, please refer to: Understanding User Roles & Permissions.
Click your company name at the top of the main navigation, then click Company Settings.
Click the Profiles tab.
Note: If the Profiles tab is not initially visible, click the More dropdown.
Click the Edit Settings button.
Select Yes to enable the daily profile change emails.
Choose the type(s) of administrators who should receive the emails.
Click Save. With this setting enabled, Built will send a daily email update each morning.
