Built provides a modern, intuitive way to track time worked and time off. To track time off, you'll first need to create time off policies that reflect your organization's rules.
Built can handle a wide range of types or categories of time off. We've compiled a list of some common types of time off, but rest assured that we can probably handle anything you need.
Most types of time off you'd need to track will fall into one of the following categories, so we've written articles explaining how to set up each type:
Lump Sum: Time off is earned all at once on a specified date each year.
Scheduled Accruals: Time off is earned in regular, scheduled increments throughout the year (e.g., bimonthly).
Accrue by Hours Worked: Time off is earned based on actual hours worked by each employee.
Unlimited: No specific amount of time off is earned, but the system still handles requests and approvals for recording purposes.
