People Data

Notes about imported people data:
By default, employment status data imported from BambooHR will be mapped to the Employee Status field in Built. Alternatively, with the help of our Customer Success Team, your account can be configured to map imported employment statuses to both the Employee Status and Employee Type fields in Built.
When importing from BambooHR, the variable pay types, Bonus (Amount) and Bonus (Percent), will be automatically created in Built to map bonus annual (amount) data and bonus annual (percentage) data imported from BambooHR.
Future hires will be automatically imported, regardless of their hire dates. To ensure new hires are assigned to the correct position at the appropriate time, we recommend specifying future effective dates when assigning individuals to Built positions in BambooHR.
When updating position assignments, we recommend entering the appropriate Built position IDs in BambooHR prior to scheduled imports, ensuring that new positions are not created unnecessarily.
Company Admins and HR Admins can choose whether preferred names or legal names are imported from BambooHR. To do this, click your company name at the top of the main navigation, click Company Settings, and then click the Imports tab. Locate the General Import Settings section and click the Edit button. Click Yes to import preferred names, then click Save.
Position Data

Full time equivalent data is associated with employment statuses in BambooHR. To import FTE data for each position in Built, you must ensure that the employment status for the person filling the position has a defined FTE in BambooHR.
Job Definition Data

Notes about imported job definition data:
Only active titles are imported.
EEOC Classification data is only imported for active titles assigned to at least one person in BambooHR.
Location Data

Notes about imported location data:
Only active locations are imported.
Location addresses are not available in the BambooHR API.
